One of my favorite stories is "Green eggs and ham." It is such a great story about a guy who wouldn't try something because it didn't look good. But when he did try it. He loved it!!
Read the story and talk about how it is good to at least try a bite of something before you say you don't like it.

Week one Day one; Breakfast
This is the start of the breakfast lesson plan for Day one.
Talk about breakfast with the children. Talk about healthy foods and ask the children to tell you a food that they think is healthy. As them if they eat breakfast. Ask them what they have for breakfast. Talk about the food pyramid and how important it is to eat the foods on it.
Print out a copy of the food pyramid Shown hereand show it to the kids. Discuss each of the food groups and why it is important.
